Aspen PPG "WalkTalkWalk"

Walking is a great way to improve physical and mental wellbeing. Walking with others also gives added benefits to many.  As part of the work of PPG supporting the Practice in improving the overall wellbeing of its patient and staff, Sandra and I, in response to the Vice Chairman's invitation to the group, the PPG are endeavoring to set up a Walk Talk Walk Group. The walks will be local and relatively easy to give access to as many people as possible.

We are contacting you to invite to join our first pilot ‘WalkTalkWalk’ opportunity as this will be a great way to begin to get to know each other. The details are as follows:

Date:  Wednesday 18th August 2021

Time:  1130 – approx. 12 30

Start point:   Saintbridge Medical Centre

The walk will be around the area of Saintbridge Balancing Pond.

Kev, Sandra and Gill have walked this already and it is approximately 3.82KM / 2 Miles long, walking on clear pathways.  We really hope you can join us.  It will be great way to help us get to know each other as well as having the added benefit of exercise.  We will also be very pleased to receive your feedback to help us go forward with the Group and eventually open this up to patients.

Please note:  Participation in PPG activity events, which could result in injuries, are taken at the individuals own risk, in which the Practice cannot be held accountable for if injury occurs. If you suffer from a health condition you should consult with your GP to ensure you are fit to take part.

We look forward to meeting up. Please let Sandra or I know by the end of the day on Monday 16th September if you will be able join the walk. Also do feel free to email us with any questions, please contact us through the front page Contact the PPG
