Review of video consultations in GP surgeries

The Digital Transformation Team at Gloucestershire CCG are reviewing how video consultations are being offered in GP surgeries.  We have collected lots of useful information from our recent survey about people’s experience of accessing healthcare during the current pandemic, but would like to gain a more detailed understanding of:

  • What, if any, video call platforms you use for personal use and why they are useful;
  • Whether you have had a video call with a GP or a nurse and how you found it;
  • In what situations a video consultation with your GP would be helpful;
  • What would make a video consultation easy and useable for you.

We would like to undertake a small number of telephone interviews with individuals, and/or invite people to join an online discussion to share their views.  If you are interested in getting involved, please reply to the team at glccg.gig@nhs.net , with the information below about how you would prefer to participate

  • Name:
  • Preferred Contact:
  • How did you hear about us? Eg. PPG, Inclusion Gloucestershire, Healthwatch Gloucestershire
  • Telephone interview, or online discussion?
