Steve initially joined the Patient Participation Group (PPG),
at the Saintbridge Practise, and following the merger, joined the Aspen PPG at
the inaugural meeting. As one of a group of likeminded patients and PPG
members, Steve aims to provide help and support to both the practise and
patients alike.
Medically retired as a Telecomm & I.T. National Support
Specialist, which took him around the world, living in Australia, Malaysia, and
France, and finally after a few detours, moving to Gloucester in 2005. Having
registered at Saintbridge Practise following a recommendation, he continued to receive
outstanding care and support, for ongoing spinal conditions, following a car
accident.
He is involved with numerous voluntary and charity groups,
including Health, Community, Welfare, Police & RSPCA to name but a few,
serving on many committees in various roles, as a member, chair, subcommittee, and
even helping to form new groups and committees.
With his various skills and experience, Steve aims to support patients from all walks of life and ethnicities, helping the PPG to be the link between both patients and the practise. This is especially important to him, having received outstanding levels of support and healthcare over the years. Steve is enthusiastic and wants to help where he can, to support and assist the Aspen Medical Centre, to become one of the leading practises in the County.
