IT Schools for Africa have opened a digital skills learning centre, TECH Connect, in Cheltenham that provides digital support and training for anyone in the community.  The aim of the project is to improve people’s skills and confidence using a computer/device so they can manage their lives more effectively.  They provide one-to-one sessions free of charge to support individuals on a wide range of topics (computer basics/emails/using the internet/job search/using online services etc).

They are a member of Digital Unite’s Digital Champion’s Networks and use their resources in the sessions.

Recognising that online health services are becoming more important for patients, they are planning a specific campaign to promote services to the local community so they can benefit from online health services.
